The United States has its flaws of course. But overall I feel very lucky to have been born here. It is weird to me to even begin to wonder what it would be like to not be an American citizen. I have been born into such priveledges and until recently did not realize this fact.
I appreciate things like being able to vote; American woman fought a great battle to be able to vote. I appreciate being able to send my children to good public schools where all children are treated equally and all have the same knowledge available to them. I appreciate everyone being able to have the same opportunities to better themselves……I guess in some countries you are born into a certain “social class” and there is no option? I love the mesh of so many cultures……sharing the same space…..learning about eachother. Freedom of speech……….I usually don’t speak out too much against my leaders because……..they have a tough job…….one that I don’t think I could do…….but I do like knowing that if I wanted to speak out…………that I can. America is so big that from going to one state to the next there is so much diversity. I lived in Texas for a while and loved “Ya’ll come back now ya hear!” ……….love that southern drawl. Snow, mountains, valleys, forests, lakes, oceans, desert, waterfalls, sun, rain……………..whatever you like…….it is here…………..you can go anywhere you want and experience all the climates and all the beauty you wish.
I could just keep going………..but I think I wait for your reply!
Hart, it is a lovely place to be, it is the land of my dream, one day i will stand face to face with the statue of liberty by the grace of God. Hart there is no country in the world where they pick money on the ground you get to serve to get money, but there is a land where the intrest of the citizen is paramount in the heart of the leaders that is why you hear american intrest all over the world.

Above and beyond any of the potential negatives, I love that we live in a country where your question above can be asked.
